Also, I am currently employed by Enterprise Rent A Car and we must be aggressive with some of our sales. I was wondering if it would be good to portray the agressivness. Well, I wouldn't count on it being anytime soon. Pfizer is on a hiring freeze to do some realigning...I have had 2 F2F interviews and was about to do a ride along when the DM told me that we will hold off on the RA due to the hiring freeze. These things can take a while....but to answer your question about what to expect, my first one was only 30 min..kind of a get to know you and if the DM liked that, then she called you back for a second one...that one is 1 1/2 hours...I am pretty sure that this is standard...you need to be very aggressive with closing on the first interview although YOU KNOW that they are not going to offer the job, just ask..atleast 2 times! Aggressiveness is a wide term in sales. In general, yes, you should always ask for the business which many sales people don't. However, this doesn't mean being pushy either which may make some of your customers feel uncomfortable. In pharma, customers are long term and if some doctors do not like you, they may not book you again. So you have to also gauge how they are feeling about your sales call with them. Adjust as required for each individual call.
