Is now a good time to be thinking of getting into Pharm. sales ? I've heard both sides. Some companies have laid off 50% of their sales force. But some say that pharm. companies may be gearing to "ramp up" in 2010.

It's always a good time to start networking with local people because by the time they are in hiring status, you want to be a known entity.

Hello I just read your post. I have been in pharmaceutical sales for just over 30 years now and I have to be very honest with you pharmaceutical sales is not a safe place to work anymore. The career opportunity is falling apart. People are being laid off almost every week. I would really hate to see a person like yourself waste any time pursing a career in this industry. If you don't believe me simply go online and use the following keywords to research the subject: The truth about pharmaceutical sales or you can read the report I have on my website www.PharmaceuticalSalesExposed.com If I can help please let me know?
